Measuring Guide
Measuring Belts
For the best fit, measure a belt you already wear and are comfortable in.
Step 1 - Lay your belt flat on a table.
Step 2 - Measure from the end of the buckle (As shown on A on the diagram) to the hole you use most often (As shown on B).
Step 3 - This measurement, in inches, is your belt size.
Example: If the distance is 34 inches in length, order a 34” belt.
Do not measure your waist or trouser size. Trouser sizes vary between brands and often lead to incorrect belt sizing. Your measurement will be used as the centre hole of a seven-hole belt, allowing for adjustment.
Measuring dog collars
Getting the right collar size keeps your dog comfortable and ensures the collar fits safely and securely. An accurate measurement makes all the difference.
Step 1 - Wrap a flexible tape measure around the base of your dog’s neck — the spot where the collar naturally sits. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight.
Step 2 - Once the tape is in place, slide two fingers between the tape and your dog’s neck. This gives the ideal amount of breathing room for comfort and safety.
Step 3 - Record the number where the tape meets. This is your dog’s true neck size.
Additional - If you do not have a soft tape measure, use a piece of string, ribbon, or shoelace. Wrap it around the neck, allowing for a two finger spacing (see step 2), mark the point where it meets, then measure that length against a ruler. For long‑haired dogs, measure with their coat in its usual state. For puppies, choose a size that allows for adjustment as they grow.
